The 2016 Land Art Festival Opening Ceremony will be delayed to July 16 due to the upcoming typhoon. Free shuttlebuses will be available.

The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration (ECNSAA) have delayed the Opening Ceremony to our East Coast Land Art Festival from July 9th to July 16th in the same location at 4 P.M. due to weather concerns of the upcoming typhoon. Free Shuttlebus roundtrip will be available on July 16th that leaves Taitung Bus Terminal at 3 P.M, and the return trip will leave at 8 P.M. Other activities and events accompanied to the Land Art Festival will also be delayed by the exact time.

All art installations are completed and can be viewed at 6 different locations within the ECNSA that includes: Hualien Xinshe, ECNSAA Headquarters at Douli, Xiaoma tribe, Donghe Recreational Area, Jinzun Recreational Area, and Jialulan Recreational Area, and can be visited anytime except for typhoon days.

Please be advised that the ECNSAA do not recommend any outdoor activities during typhoon days and please refrain from visiting or approaching shorelines and cliffs. For more information please visit our official website for updates and any travel-related questions.
