East Coast National Scenic Area

This campsite is located within the Fugang Geopark (Xiaoyeliu) area. It is approximately 6 km north of Taitung City and 5 km south of Shanyuan Beach.

Fugang Geopark (Xiaoyeliu) serves as the southernmost point of this scenic area. It is filled with uniquely shaped rock formations; their extraordinary appearance makes the area resemble a natural sculpture park. While exploring, one cannot help but marvel at the wondrous power of nature. On clear days, looking eastwards from here, Green Island can be clearly seen floating in the Pacific Ocean, 18 nautical miles away. The Xiaoyeliu Recreation Area is bustling with visitors on holidays, serving as a natural classroom for geography and geology.

1.During your stay, please use only your reserved/assigned area. Do not occupy other campsites, parking spaces, grassy areas, or common areas. The wooden platform is strictly designated for pitching sleeping tents; please be mindful of height differences and potential drop-offs for your safety. Do not set up living tents (gazebos), cooking tents, etc., on the wooden platforms. Living tents/gazebos are only permitted in the designated table and chair areas or within parking spaces。

2.When setting up tents, tarps, gazebos, etc., please be mindful of the space you occupy. Ensure all equipment stays within your designated campsite boundaries to avoid infringing upon the space or rights of other campers.。
