The “Best Pacific Coast Biking Tour 2016” held by the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration (ECNSAA) as a warm-up event for the annual Taiwan Cycling Festival, offers four route options: the Pakara'ac White Crab Legend Tour, the Tatadok River Culture Tour, the Living Sea Tour and the Kiwit Traditional Lifestyle Tour. The event will last from June through November 30th.

Participants in the Pakara’ac White Crab Legend Tour can admire mountains majestically towering above the Pacific and visit the Ciwidian, Ca’wi and Pakara’ac communities for family-friendly indigenous experiences (such as making the “hunter’s fire,” boating toward the Xiuguluan River mouth and exploring the white crab ecosystem, as well as the ethnic Amis culture). The Tatadok River Culture Tour combines four aboriginal destinations (Kiwit, Ca'wi, Paterongan and Kaluluwan communities) and a strikingly new, culture-infused take on the Xiuguluan River rafting into an innovative journey of real depth, substance and wisdom, perfect for the younger members of the family to spend the sweltering summer. Those taking the Living Sea Tour will bike along the East Coast amid heavenly breezes, while enjoying the cordial friendliness of tribal people in the memorably idyllic Atolan, Marongarong, Torik and Pisirian communities. And don’t miss the Kiwit Traditional Lifestyle Tour that offers insights into the Kiwit, Ca’wi and Kaluluwan lifestyles and wisdom, one step at a time!
