    Yanliao/ Shuilian

    Tiaolang ("skipping through waves") is the old name of Yanliao Village and Shuilian Village. Due to the challenging terrain, early residents had to skip through the waves along the seashore to reach Hualien City. After years of repeated erosion and deposition, an intertidal ecosystem is formed in the coastal terrain where algae and shellfish thrive. This place is not only close to the sea but also to the mountains. During the day, you can hike up and gaze at the sea from a distance while the sea can also be easily reached. At night, you can watch the stars in silence with zero light pollution. Take a trip to Yanliao and Shuilian to enjoy a worry-free journey of skipping through waves.

    Changbin/Fengbin
    Meet the bouncing waves.

    mesmerizing azure blue that exists on the narrow and long stretch of coast of Hualien Fengbin and Taitung Changbin. This place can only be reached by bus or by driving such that external disturbances are limited and its beautiful, primitive vibes can be retained. Immigrants and youths who have returned to their hometown have opened up shops, studios, hotels; or become farmers here, forming the vibrant Shuangbin (the two Bin's; Fengbin and Changbin) life zone.
